GETTYSBURG COMMUNITY SOUP KITCHEN AT A GLANCE
The Gettysburg Community Soup Kitchen has been the cornerstone to those in need of a meal for over 25 Years. Having access to quality nutritious food is sometimes, not so common. GCSK works towards having food security for everyone in our community.
To provide consistently nourishing meals, at no cost, to the hungry in our community.
To live out the words of Christ by collaborating with
churches and community groups to feed the hungry.
WHAT WE DO
With this initiative, our goal is to provide nourishment for those in need. Our midday meal which we served from 11:30am to 12:30pm every day helps those who need it most.W
The soup kitchen has 50 to 70 guests a day. We provide services daily regardless of weather or holiday. No intake questions are ever asked. Anyone who stops in only needs to ask for a meal and you will be provided one.
The Gettysburg Soup Kitchen would not be able to make a lasting impact in the community for over 25 Years if it wasn't for the generorisity of others. There are many ways to donate. Listed below are a few ways to help out.
